? % As a first-tier supplier to our renowned business partner, Roche Diagnostics in Rotkreuz, we are immediately seeking a motivated and dedicated Lab Cleaner for a temporary assignment of one year with the possibility of extension

The Research & Development Services team at Roche Diagnostics International (RDI) leads the management of R&D laboratories and associated equipment to ensure the safety, compliance and smooth operations of local R&D laboratories.

Tasks

Regular cleaning of the BSL1 & BSL2 laboratories according to the hygiene plan
Waste management, including collection and disposal
Lab coat management, including adequate supply, collection, and cleaning
Operation and monitoring of dishwasher, drying furnace, and autoclaves
Maintaining a stock of common lab consumables
Pipettes calibration support
Participates in the on-call services for the CTU excursion
Dry ice area cleaning

Must Haves

Physical requirements include standing, bending, and lifting heavy waste bins Regularly
Work with potentially infectious biological material
Fluent in German and English, min. Level B2
Proficient with MS Excel and Google suite

Nice to Haves

Hep B vaccination (Can also be provided by Roche)
Relevant experience as a cleaner or laboratory environment
