Laboratory Technician (m/w/d) in Basel

Our client is seeking a Laboratory Technician (100%) to join our European Competence Center in Freienbach. Our state-of-the-art R&D facility covers the full development lifecycle of structural adhesives—from prepolymer design and synthesis to scale-up, performance testing, and industrial application. In this role, you will contribute directly to the development and commercialization of adhesive technologies supporting e-mobility and sustainable transportation.Key Responsibilities:Develop semi-structural and structural adhesives for automotive body and battery applicationsSupport manufacturing and commercialization activities in line with DuPont’s product commercialization processesIndependently formulate, mix, and scale up adhesive recipesPerform performance testing and characterization according to automotive customer specificationsDocument formulations, results, and project outcomes with high accuracy and data integrityPrepare customer presentations and contribute to intellectual property documentationCollaborate closely with project leaders, manufacturing, and account managersEnsure full compliance with EH&S, safety, and cleanliness standardsActively contribute to continuous improvement initiativesYour Profile:Completed training as a Laboratory Technician, ideally in chemistry or a related fieldExperience with polyurethane and epoxy-based adhesives is an advantageAutomotive industry experience is a plusFamiliarity with project management tools and processes is beneficialSelf-motivated, agile, and collaborative personality with strong interpersonal skillsFluent German is required; English skills are an advantageSolid knowledge of Microsoft Office for documentation and reportingDas klingt nach einer spannenden Position?
