About Our Client

For our client, a globally recognized contract research organization specializing in integrated analytical solutions for the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, we are seeking a talented professional. This leading company operates state-of-the-art laboratories near Basel and serves top-tier pharmaceutical innovators worldwide with comprehensive CMC analytics, quality control testing, and method development services across all stages of drug development.

Your Responsibilities

Design and refine molecular biology assays including PCR, qPCR, digital PCR, and next-generation sequencing for pharmaceutical quality assessment
Execute and interpret sophisticated molecular analytical procedures within GMP-compliant laboratory environments
Validate analytical methodologies in accordance with regulatory frameworks such as GMP, GxP, and ICH standards
Facilitate method transfer to routine operations through collaboration with cross-functional laboratory teams
Author and update standard operating procedures, validation protocols, and analytical reports
Provide technical troubleshooting support for molecular biology applications in daily operations
Contribute to interdisciplinary initiatives aimed at expanding analytical service capabilities
Monitor emerging technologies in molecular diagnostics and implement innovative approaches
Mentor laboratory staff on technical procedures and best practices

Your Profile

Academic qualification in life sciences such as biology, biotechnology, biochemistry, or equivalent discipline
Proven track record in pharmaceutical quality control or analytical method development (preferred)
Advanced expertise in molecular biology techniques, particularly PCR/qPCR, digital PCR, and sequencing platforms
Hands-on experience developing and optimizing molecular biological assays
Solid understanding of method validation principles and quality assurance in pharmaceutical settings
Biosafety level 2 laboratory experience is an advantage
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities
Self-directed work style with proactive approach to challenges
Meticulous and organized working methodology
Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities
Proficient English communication skills in written and verbal form required; German language skills are beneficial
