About Our Client

For our client, a well-established organisation operating a sophisticated international structure of commercial, financial holding, and manufacturing entities in Switzerland, we are seeking a skilled Senior Accounting Specialist (m/f/d). The company is recognised for its strong presence in the Swiss market, supported by robust financial infrastructure and a commitment to the highest accounting standards across multiple jurisdictions.

Your Responsibilities

Act as the main point of contact for sophisticated accounting judgements and intricate financial transactions
Ensure precise and timely recording of business transactions while maintaining compliance with international accounting standards (US GAAP, IFRS, Swiss Code of Obligations)
Contribute to the preparation of annual statutory financial statements and tax reports, including consolidated financials and documentation for statutory audits
Play a pivotal role in coordinating internal and external audit processes • Develop and maintain robust internal control frameworks and accounting procedures
Collaborate closely with the Business Services Center on transaction-level operations
Deliver comprehensive financial analyses and regular performance updates to senior management

Your Profile

Solid expertise in international accounting frameworks (US GAAP, IFRS, Swiss Code of Obligations)
Hands-on experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP (FI/CO), combined with advanced Excel proficiency
Strong analytical capabilities and meticulous attention to detail when interpreting financial statements
Proactive mindset with the ability to quickly adapt to evolving business environments
Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with stakeholders across different organisational levels
Fluent in English; German language skills are an asset
Professional approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Solution-oriented thinking and capability to tackle complex challenges
