Water Treatment Engineer (m/f/d) in Solothurn

Aufgaben

Overseeing the entire lifecycle of sustainability projects, from conception to successful market launch
Spearheading the implementation of innovative strategies and concepts aimed at reducing, reusing, and recycling water in the semiconductor industry
Developing digital tools to formulate comprehensive water management strategies for intricate systems
Providing continuous support to customers throughout the duration of sustainability projects
Estimating both capital and operational expenses for projects (CapEx, OpEx)
Conducting analyses of water and wastewater quality
Designing, testing, and evaluating processes for water and wastewater treatment
Literature and web research
Creating and contributing to future know-how of the company
Writing technical documentation and reports

Qualifikationen

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science, preferably in Chemical, Process, or Industrial Engineering
Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience, ideally in water or wastewater treatment
Strong understanding of economic principles within a sustainability context
Proactive, creative, and adaptable with the ability to work effectively under pressure
Willingness to travel globally for extended periods, approximately 30% of the time, to regions including France, Germany, Austria, Italy, the Netherlands, North America, Montreal, Singapore, China (occasionally), Taiwan, and Malaysia
Team-oriented with exceptional communication skills, capable of collaborating closely with internal international departments, suppliers, and customers
